RAKORNAS TK 2021

The National Islamic Religious Education Forum (FKG PAI TK), a communication organization for Islamic Religious Education Teachers (PAI) under the auspices of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, along with CV. Lestari Ilmu, a digital education application developer, held a National Coordination Meeting (RAKORNAS) for the Islamic Religious Education Teacher Communication Forum (FKG PAI-TK) at the national level. This RAKORNAS was enlivened by the participation of kindergarten teachers from the FKG-PAI TK, which took place on November 12-14, 2021, at the Red Hotel Sarangan, Magetan Regency, East Java.

The National Coordination Meeting (RAKORNAS), themed “Strengthening Spirit and Friendship for the Sake of a Successful Kindergarten Islamic Education Faculty (FKG PAI),” was attended by 61 FKG PAI members from 18 provinces across Indonesia. The attendees included:

  1. Head of the Central FKG PAI-TK, Entin Kartini, S.Pd., MM, and the FKG's central management;
  2. Regent of Magetan, Dr. Drs. Suprawoto, SH., M.Si.;
  3. Director of the Directorate of Islamic Religious Education, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Drs. H. Amrullah, M.Si. (via Zoom);
  4. Head of the PAI PAUD-TK Sub-Directorate, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ms. Lelis Tsuroya Herniatin, S.PdI, M.Si. (via Zoom);
  5. Head of the Personnel Section of the PAI PAUD/TK Sub-Directorate, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Mr. Suharno, S.H., M.Si.;
  6. Head of the Educational Technology Development Section of the PAI PAUD/TK Sub-Directorate, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Dr. Masitah, S.Ag., M.Pd.;
  7. Head of the Student Development Section of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Herman, S.Pd.I.
  8. The National Coordination Meeting (RAKORNAS) is expected to produce satisfactory results, particularly regarding improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for Kindergarten (TK) at the National Level. This meeting will include the following activities:

Organizational Strengthening Material by the Head of the Central PAI-TK Faculty of Education
Discussion of the PAI-TK Faculty of Education's Statutes and Bylaws and the PAI-TK Faculty of Education's Handbook

  1. FKG PAI-TK Development Reports for each Province
  2. FKG PAI-TK Work Program Discussion
  3. PAI-TK Directorate Policy Material by the Head of the PAI PAUD-TK Sub-Directorate
  4. PAI-TK Development through Songs
  5. PAI-TK Development through Digital Books and the Use of Class Chat Applications.

Drs. H. Amrullah, M.Si., Director of the Directorate of Islamic Religious Education at the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, also expressed his appreciation for this significant event. “We greatly appreciate the National Coordination Meeting (RAKORNAS) for the FKG PAI TK (Teacher's Forum for Islamic Religious Education in Kindergarten), which has transformed the FKG PAI into a quality forum. The competency of Kindergarten PAI teachers will be further enhanced through the PPKB (Community Development Program). There will be a focus on government recognition for Kindergarten PAI teachers, who will be eligible to become civil servants through the P3K teacher program. We hope that Kindergarten PAI teachers will be more competent, enabling them to become creative and innovative GPAI (Information and Communication Skills Teachers),” stated Drs. H. Amrullah, M.Si. in his remarks.

Echoing the previous remarks, Lelis Tsuroya Herniatin, S.PdI, M.Si., Head of the PAI PAI PAUD-TK Sub-Directorate at the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, also expressed his appreciation for the 2nd National Rakornas of the FKG PAI TK. “(The Sub Directorate) will assist/encourage GPAI TK to become ASN & PPPK, PAI Teachers are asked to further increase their competencies as professional GPAI and optimize PAI TK Teacher data in the SIAGA AND EMIS applications which are synchronized with DAPODIK,” said Lelis Tsuroya Herniatin, S.PdI, M.Si in her presentation.

Magetan Regent Suprawoto emphasized the importance of character education for children from an early age. “Train them to be responsible for their own abilities. They should not only be intelligent but also have noble character. Instill honesty, because honesty is good and will produce a good generation,” said Regent Suprawoto.

In his remarks, the Magetan Regent also entrusted the nation's children to kindergarten teachers, as kindergarten provides the initial and foundational education for children. This golden age must be cared for, as if lost, it cannot be regained. “Education is a sector that receives special attention from the Magetan Regency Government. This sector is considered vital because good education will produce good future generations. They will determine the fate of this nation for decades to come. Therefore, education must be a concern for all parties who care about the nation's fate,” said Regent Suprawoto at the National Coordination Meeting (RAKORNAS).
